At Bonsall Parish Church on Saturday the Rector (The Rev. J.C.T. Taggart) officiating, Miss Minnie Spencer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. Spencer of Dale Top, Bonsall, was married to Mr. Albert Edward Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Smith of Blackheath, Birmingham.
The bride who ws given away by her father was attired in an ankle length dress of pale blue crepe de chime, with hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of pink tulips and maidenhair fern. She was attended by Miss Violet Stone (friend) and Miss Nancy Spencer (cousin) who wore green dresses with black hats, and carried bouquets of tulips and narcissi, and Miss Alice Spencer (sister) and Miss Lucy Spencer (cousin), who were attired in pink silk dresses, with burnt straw hats. They carried daffodills and narcissi. Mr. A. Spencer (brother of the btride) was Best Man.
The bride received a carpet and counter-pane from her fellow workers at Masson Mills. Mr. and Mrs. Smith will reside at Town Enn, Bonsall."
