March 9, 1927 - February 21, 2022
Edward David Vogt passed away peacefully in the morning February 21st, at the age of 94. It was, fittingly, a beautiful, sunny, Family Day.
Survivors include his wife Eileen, daughters Maria and Tamra, son Edward, grandchildren Michelina, Rosi, Sarina, Kelly, Izabella and Natalie, sister Hilda, brother Les, his many nieces and nephews.
He was kind, supportive and had a soft soul that will be remembered by all who came in contact with him.

An Agassiz bride, Evelyn Marion, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James J. Hawryluk, travelled to Vancouver November 9 for her wedding to Dr. Edward David Vogt, son of Mrs. K. Vogt, assistant pastor of the Canadian Temple of the More Abundant Life. Dr. William Franklin Wolsey conducted the ceremony in the temple.

The bride chose a gown of brocaded satin with fitted bodice and net yoke. A full net skirt flowed from the waistline in train effect. A coronet of pearls held a full length veil of net embossed with hand-painted flowers.
Maid of honor was Miss Joyce Danchak and bridesmaid, Miss Annette Hawryluk, both cousins of the bride. Identical dresses of nylon net featured tiny lace jackets in pastel shades of yellow and green. Darlene Danchak was flower girl in mauve nylon. They carried bouquets of yellow and bronze mums.
Robert Voice was best man with ushers Gordon and Victor Vogt, brothers of the groom, Dr. R. Young and Dr. George Miller.
Following a reception in the lounge of the temple where a toast to the bride was proposed by S. Sciotti, Agassiz, the couple left for a honeymoon in Seattle.
On their return they will make their home in Vancouver."
