"MACDONALD - Sharon Faye Macdonald passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Rockyview Hospital on Monday, August 21, 2000 at the age of 58 years. Besides her loving husband, Bruce, Sharon is survived by and will be greatly missed by her children, Shari Streblow (Helmut) and Kristy Humphries (Paul); as well as her grandchildren, Taverann Humphries and Alexandra Macdonald. Sharon was predeceased by her son Todd in April 2000. She is also survived by her mother Frances Smith of Calgary; and her sister Gail Powell (John) of Toronto, and their children, Ross, Michael and Lori. Sharon, having worked in the travel industry, loved to travel and had the good fortune of visiting many countries. While a true native Calgarian, it was Hawaii that won her heart and where she spent her happiest times. Sharon will be dearly remembered by her friends and family, both in Canada and Hawaii for her wonderful sense of humor and her love of children and animals. A memorial service will be held at Scarboro United Church (134 Scarboro Avenue S.W.) today, August 25, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. Flowers are gratefully declined.
