He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Laetitia in 1956 and a son, Alan, in 1971. Born in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, Mr. Gray came to Canada in 1923 and lived in Saskatchewan for two years before coming to Calgary. In 1951 he moved to Vancouver, returning to Calgary in 1970. During the First World War he served with the Gordon Highlanders of the British Army.
