Lillian Evelyn Chubak Herriott, 63, died Nov. 9, 1993, at her residence.
A native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, she was born July 12, 1930, and had been a Reno resident since 1970, coming from Richmond, Calif.
Mrs. Herriott was a cashier in the gaming industry.
Her father, Paul, and brother Gordon, preceded her in death.
Surviving are son Jim and daughters Marion Gavin and Sharon Irelan, all of Reno, mother Evelyn Benson Chubak and brother Gerald Chubak, both of La Quinta, Calif., daughter Pat O'Brien of Vallejo, Calif., seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Inurnment is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery.
Cremation will be at the Reno Crematory, under the direction of the Northern Nevada Memorial Cremation and Burial Society."

Ernest Francis Whitmore, aged 54 years, of 609 Seventh Avenue, north, died at his home this morning. Mr. Whitmore resided here for many years and was for 15 years connected with the T. Eaton Company. He was well known in the city. Mr. Whitmore leaves a widow and two sons, Ernest and William, both residing here.
The funeral service will be in St. John's Cathedral at 3 o'clock Saturday. Mr. Whitmore was a devoted member of St. John's congregation. Rev. Canon W.L. Armitage will conduct the service. The body is resting at Campbell's funeral home meanwhile."

Mrs. Amelia S. Whitmore, who came to Saskatoon from England in 1911 and resided here since, except for a few years spent in Victoria, died Saturday in hospital here. She was 77 years of age.
She was the widow of the late Ernest Francis Whitmore, Sr., who was employed by the T. Eaton Co. Lyd. for many years. Mrs. Whitmore is survived by two sons, Ernest F. Jr., on the staff of the law school at the University of Saskatchewan, and William J. Whitmore of Neepawa, Man. There are two sisters in England.
Mrs. Whitmore was a member of St. Jon's Cathedral congregation.
The funeral service will be at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from McKague's Funeral Home, conducted by the Very Rev. Dean N. D.B. Larmonth. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery."

"Pioneer of Floral District, Donald Maclean Dead at 88
A long-time resident and pioneer of the Floral District, Donald Maclean, 88, died this morning in a local hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Maclean had lived in Saskatoon since 1935. At the time of his death he was vice-president of the Saskatchewan Mutual Insurance Company.
Mr. Maclean was born in 1863 in Inverness, Scotland. For three years, from 1885 to 1888, he was head gardener at Glamis Castle where Lord Strathmore, Queen Elizabeth's great-grandfather lived.
He came to Canada in 1901, taking up a homestead south of Floral where he became a successful farmer and leader in the community. He was an elder of the first Presbyterian Church at Floral and was also an elder of the United Church after union. He was a former councillor of Cory Municipality and was instrumental in the building of Melness school south of Floral in 1905. He also laid out the Floral cemetery.
His wife died in 1935 and that same year he retired and moved to Saskatoon where he resided with his daughter, Catherine, at 818 Seventh Avenue. In Saskatoon he was a member of Knox United Church.
Mr. Maclean is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ernest Whitmore, Saskatoon; Mrs. William Whitmore, Neepawa, Manitoba; and Catherine, at home. There is a brother in England and a sister in Scotland.
The funeral will be at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon from Knowx United Church with the Rev. G. Duncan Wilkie officiating. McKague's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Floral cemetery."

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 30, 1978 at 10:30 a.m. from the Chapel of McKague's Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Gary Redcliffe. Surviving are: two sisters, Mrs. E.F. (Anne) Whitmore of Regina and Mrs. William (Mina) Whitmore of Winnipeg; several nieces and nephews. Miss MacLean was born in Scotland, and immigrated with her parents to Canada in 1904 to homestead in the Floral district. Miss MacLean taught school in rural Saskatchewan for several years before taking up residence in Saskatoon. The family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 305 - 219 22nd St. East, rather than floral tributes. Interment will be made in the family plot in the Floral Cemetery."

They then moved to Regina where he was Counsel at MacPherson, Leslie and Tyerman until his passing in 1964. In both Saskatoon and Regina she was very involved in community affairs especially the United Church and the I.O.D.E. She was affectionately known for her generous spirit, kindness, hospitality and humor. She will be sadly missed by those whose lives she touched. Anne was very happy during her years at Qu'Apelle House. Her family is sincerely grateful for the wonderful care and friendship extended to her there. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 1996 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel with the REv. Blair Dixon officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
