He will be sadly missed by his wife Dorothy (Dolly), daughter Doreen and husband Anton Breivik, grandson Dean, granddaughter Sharon of Winnipeg, brother in law Ralph Hartley and wife May of Vancouver, nephew James Walton and wife Diane and family of Winnipeg. Ray served with the Fifth Anti-tank Regiment R.C.A. in the Second World War and was awarded the D.C.M. He was decorated by the late King George VI at Buckingham Palace. He was a member of the Army Navy and Air Force Branch No 26. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Jude's Church, 15th and Renfrew, Tuesday, May 4 at 10 a.m., Rev. Father D.L. Campbell celebrant. Roselawn Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements."
