"LeBLANC, Leo Arthur
On the morning of February 2, 2003 Leo passed away at home after a long fight with cancer.
Leo was born on April 8th, 1917 in La Pas, Manitoba. He leaves to mourn Regina his wife of 49 years and his daughter Tracy Brown (Gord) and son Mark. Leo was a loving husband and father.
Leo went to school in Edmonton and in 1941 joined the RCAF as an Aviator until 1947. In 1947 Leo started an air charter company in the Canadian Arctic. In 1951 Leo rejoined the RCAF as a pilot instructor stationed in Trenton. In 1953 was transferred to Penhold, Alberta. He then transferred to France in 1956 where he retired in 1961. After retiring from the RCAF he lived in Edmonton and owned and operated a furniture refinishing business until his 65th birthday. He loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed Horse Shoeing and was a keen student and researcher of UFO's. Another favourite pastime was feeding and studying the birds common to Alberta. The family would like to thank Dr. Friedman and Dr. Marvin Wiesler for their wonderful care and compassion. Also a special thanks to Shauna and the homecare staff.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers please make your donations to the Salvation Army and the Canadian Cancer Society."

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother. Regina has passed away and has now joined her loving husband Leo and best friend in heaven. She leaves to mourn her children Tracy and Mark. Regina was born in Edmonton and lived in Edmonton most of her life. She had fond memories of time she spent with her husband and children. No service planned. Donations can be made instead of flowers to the Red Cross."
