"WOODS - On August 27, Ernest Charles, dearly loved husband of Mrs. Jean Mae Woods, Moose Jaw, Sask, passed away at the age of 66 years. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 31, at 3:15 p.m. at Speers Funeral Home, the Rev. Harry Joyce of St. Andrew’s United Church officiating and burial in Regina Cemetery. "C.N.R. MAN DIES
Ernest Charles Woods, 66, of Moose Jaw, a retired C.N.R. official with more than 40 years service with the railway in Saskatchewan, died in Regina Tuesday. Funeral service was to be Saturday at 3:15 p.m. at Speers funeral home with Rev. Harry Joyce officiating. Burial with Masonic rites will be in Regina cemetery.
Mr. Woods is survived by his wife Jean Mae, three sons, and three daughters, and a stepson, Ian Carson, North Battleford. A native of St. Thomas, Ont., Mr. Wood started his railway career in that city with the C.N.R. He came west in 1904.
