John Francis CASHEN

"J. Frank Cashen
Easton - J. Frank Cashen of Easton died on Monday, June 30, 2014 at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton. He was 88.....{much information on his life in baseball}....
Just before his death, Cashen completed his autobiography, "Winning in Both Leagues; Reflections From Baseball's Front Office", which will be published by the University of Nebraska Press in September 2014. In his book Cashen looks back over 25 years of baseball and his career of producuing winning ball clubs. He remains one of the only two general managers to wiun a World Series in both the American and National Leagues.
Cashen is survived by his wife, Jean, or 64 years; and seven children, Gregory and his wife Beverly of Gilette, N.J., Terrence of Timonium, Timothy and his wife Ann and daughter Keely of Towson, Brian and his wife Karen of Lutherville, and their children Daniel and his wife Rachel, daughter Caitlin and sons Brady and Colby, Sean and his wife Karen, also of Lutherville, and their children Carly and Seamus, and daughters, Stacey Cashen Effinger, and husband Scott and their sons Lucas and Connor of Easton, and Blaise Cashen of New York, N.Y.
He was predeceased in daeth by his parentys, Cornelius and Bridget Ryan Cashen; and four siblings.
All services will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., Easton."

Terrence Neil "Terry" Cashen passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 9th.
Born on January 8, 1952, he was the beloved son of the late J. Frank Cashen and Jean A. Cashen. Terry is survived by is mother, Jean, as well as brothers, Greg Cashen (Beverly), Tim Cashen, Brian Cashen (Karen), Sean Kashen (Karen), and sisters, Stacey Cashen Effinger (Scott), and Blaise Cashen, along with 9 devoted nieces and nephews. He is also survived by the love of his life, June Inman Murphy, and her daughter, Shawn Murphy George.
The family will welcome friends from 2:00-6:00 pm on Friday, December 14 at Ruck Funeral Home, 1050 York Road. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, the 15th at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 200 Ware Avenue in Towspn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Terry's name to Gilchrist Center Towson, 555 Towsontown Boulevard, West, Towson, MD 21204."
