She was still living when a codicil to the will was made on 19 June 1854.
..The sum of 160 pounds was bequeathed to his sons, Alexander and James Steele. . and 40 pounds was bequeathed to each of his daughters, Grace Woods, Eliza McCreight, Isabella Campbell, Margaret Anderson, Nancy Anderson and Olivia Cosgrave". Nancy is also mentioned in a codicil dated 19 June 1854, whereby she receives one hundred and forty pounds rather than the 40 pounds in the original will.
